GSXR-600 TB Mod for Center Linkage

Arttu mentions modifying GSXR-600 TB’s for center linkage here 

 

 

Have found a few posts regarding GSXR-600 TB’s for EFI conversions, but no details on the center linkage mod.  Also looked through thegsresources site and found a thread, but key pics are missing (thanks AGAIN photophucket) and the words don’t paint the picture.

 

Any insight on the mod?  Sounds like you swap around the end TB with the linkage and a center TB.  How to connect the linkage across the linkage?  I assume welding a tab to the linkage to mate up with the adjustment screw on the adjacent TB?

Here are few pics. Hopefully they give some idea. Basically you swap around the bodies so that you get the cable mechanism in the middle. Then you take now unused linkage bracket and bolt it on top of the cable mechanism. If I recall correctly I had to bend it slightly to make contact to the tab of the next throttle. But no any welding was needed.
