JOHNNYBKATANA Posted January 30 Share Posted January 30 Hello Fellow Zuke Fans, Looking to get a front wheel speedo to convert from the original Katana 1983 GS1100SD 19 inch wheel to an 18 inch Performance Machine Wheel to get a more accurate speed. My speedometer reads faster than what is actually travelling. Also, the fork on the bike is from a Ducati 851/750 Paso Marzocchi 41.7 M1R. I've seen the Japanese Katanas wheel conversions but don't know where to get it or from which suzuki model with an 18 inch rim to aquire from. Your help is greatly appreciated. johnr Posted February 26 Share Posted February 26 Some Katana SD models had a 16 inch front wheel which had a fat tyre on it which may be close to the size of an 18 in her with a lower profile tyre. The 400 katana had an 18 inch front wheel. Quote Link to comment
