Yes but the rev limiter is higher on the 750 unit. I don't know if the advance and retard differ although this is possible. There is some variation in advance retard among different CDIs meant for various 11/12 oilcooled engines. The data are all in the Suzuki ws manuals, the pdfs of which are freely available online.

OP; I ran a 750 CDI on an 1127 for many years. It works very well, but as@Dezzawrote, the rev limiter is higher (13,000+ IIRC). When I raced a friend, I found a neutral between 3rd and 4th gear and at full throttle the engine quickly revved all the way to the limit and the crank split in two. Expensive!  Since then, I always use the correct CDI.
