Busa Gen 1 rods v GSX-R ‘W’ rods - same thing??

Does anyone know if the Busa Gen 1 ‘rods are the same as the water-cooled GSX-R ‘W’ rods?? They look identical, just the forging numbers are different… TIA

Hayabusa rods are longer than 1100W rods. Same bearing bores. Earlier oil cooled rods are same dimensions as 1100W.

Soo, if I’m building a turbo Bandit 1200 I can use the stronger 1100W rods, without needing the 2mm block spacer that’s needed with Busa rods??
