It is but the cost comes close to buying a new one maybe you should look for a oem,aftermarket alternative or from another motorcycle brands with the same length and mounts never limit yourself to original unless your a purist and want it to stay original

As @Safra says unless it's a 100% restoration plenty of alternative shocks out there even some of the eblag cheapies can be pretty decent, if you post the length and fittings ,eye or fork someone may be able to recommend a oem replacement
