h3soy2m Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 (edited) I want to replace my mikuni bst31ss carbs with 90-98 bst33ss carbs. I have found an Eblag listing that seems to be correct but this carb has a TPS on it as far as i know. The listing says its from a 1997 GSX600F, German market. I can't find any info on pre 98 carbs with a TPS on the internet. Is this carb a straight swap and can I just leave the sensor unplugged? My machine is a 1990 gsx600F with a 89 carb Edited March 26, 2023 by h3soy2m Quote
Captain Chaos Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 Hi and welcome. Yes you can leave it unplugged. Or remove it completely from the carbs. Even if the bike is equipped with a TPS from the factory, unplugging it makes no noticeable difference in the running of the engine. Quote
