Hi all, my names phill and I was previously on the pro boards forum. I think now the new forum is running its time to actually set up a project page :)

ok ok so project powered by oldskool isn't the usual thing on here, and after reading the rules I'm a little worried it'll be deleted. Firstly yes it is a car but at its heart is a gsxr 1127 motor. The ultimate plan is to slightly tinker with the motor to produce in the region of 300bhp via a 1216cc turbo set up.

But this summer I'm just happy to get it running.

The story so far:

After my friends dad sadly passed I found myself the new owner of a legend series race car. Little rough around the edges but it has potential.

So once it was home I started to look past the Orange paint and chicken mesh front screen.

Looking inside I could see the floor needed replacing and the wiring sorting out.

Also it had no mirror which are required if I wanted to take it on track.

A quick rummage around and I found some from a hayabusa.

I also found a volt gauge so i decided to fit it and the oil temp guage that was laying on the floor.

Now for that floor, I cut out the rusted holes and primed it.

Little bit of work later this was the finished job.

Now time to open the boot and see what we have :)

no problems here apart from the need of a new battery.

So I thought that was enough work for one weekend and packed her away. Here a pic of her next to my sv650s so you can get a perspective of size.
