GS Guy Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Hi guys, It's been quite a while since i posted, I'm back with another project. I have a GSX750F which i have stripped down. I bought a GSX550ES frame and swinger which i'm putting the 750 oil boiler into. I know the 750 front end bolts into the 550 frame and have read the rear wheel fits the 550 swing arm BUT after test fitting today, the 550 swing arm is around 1 inch too narrow. I can't even get the caliper carrier slotted in. Does anyone know how to fit the GSX750F rear wheel into this swingarm? Is the 600f wheel narrower? Quote
TonyGee Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 probably the best way would be to fit a wider swingarm, an aluminium one will be stiffer and look better than the steel one. Quote
