TIA Cheers Richard the official Suzuki way is to strip the engine down and remove the chain off the crank as the chain is endless !!!!!! the other way is to buy a chain with a soft link and feed it through with no1 cylinder at TDC. I guess you must connect the new chain to the old and feed it through but how do you lock the soft link once it is in place? yeah you do, I use some strong thick wire to hold then together ( last thing you want is the chain to drop down the tunnel) it will be necessary to unbolt the sprockets of the cam's. before you put it at TDC undo and remove the lower sprocket bolt then onto TDC. their is a tool to split and join the cam chains for both normal and Hivo. 1 Quote
