Gs750/ 850 shared engine parts

hi, I've  a low mileage early 850 engine with a kick-start and a tired 750 engine,  just wondering if the 850 internals would fit in the 750 cases, has anybody tried this or is it to much hassle

Top end will swap, I think the crank, gear box and clutch are different. 

You can use the gen and starter clutch on the 850, but you might find when you split the case's the crank and clutch will fit in.

Never striped a 750 engine all the way down.
