gs1100 square adaptor for damper rod

No torx bits needed here. If you want to rebuild your forks, with no springs in compress the forks and use a couple of 1/2 socket extensions, a correct size socket and a 17mm (to be used as a 19mm 'allen key') to fit into the top of the damper rod. You can now hold the rod using a t-bar or ratchet so the bottom set screw can be tightened. One of those hex head 'wheel spindle tools, 19mm' also works if you have one and no correct sized box spanner.

Exactly the info needed.  Just to confirm is it a 17mm Allen ? The 19mm reference is confusing. 

But thank you very much. 

Been in lockdown where i am, but hoping to get out soon so i can get a few things.
