katana11 Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 Right folks I need the experts, my carbs were fully rebuilt by myself and all genuine parts, jets,needles,gaskets,seals the full monty here are the concernsHave I got the right carbs ?When I first fired her up she ticked over low and not too bad, I then put the clocks on her and she started to Rev at 3 to 4 k on her own ?, are some butterflies stuck open ?, even with idle screw turned off she revs highAll standard airbox, filter, rubbers plugs,leads, everything genuine Suzuki and new,float heights perfect, main and pilot newI ultrasonic cleaned the carbs myself have a look at pictures, one of the pics shows my finger pointing at a hole that’s drawing air where the other 3 carbs do not draw air in same place, this should not be a hole as not filtered air did the ultrasonic cleaner make this hole ?, I can seal this easy, but even plugged she still revved at 3 to 4K on her ownHave a look at pics and vid and see what ye think before I pull the carbsThis was hap import but got all euro spec now even standard cdi and exhausts Quote
