fredbcj Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 any help or info would be great or any pointers, on idle it seems fluffy ,i can only explain it like on a 2 stroke that gets the sound of 4 stroking , as soon as you load the engine its great ,i need to know if 2 turns out is (thats what they was )is good ,or should i balance them at lots of different rpm ? hope your all well and good ,cheers Quote
wraith Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 I no one replys before I will have a look in the book tomorrow (it's in the garage at the mo) but if the tick over goes up and down could be needing a balance of the carbs Quote
MadJack Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Standard is 2 turns out but take that as a guide. Screw in till the revs drop, screw back out untill the revs drop again & the midpoint between these is the optimal setting. If it doesn't respond to this then you have 'other' problems with the carbs. 2 Quote
