Neveragain55 Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 Hi Gang, This may seem like a silly question but......can the top triple tree clamp from a 2001 Bandit 1200 be used in place of the top triple tree clamp from a 1993 GSXR750 set of front forks? I wold imagine that as long as the fork size diameter of these two different bikes are the same that it could, but I don't know the diameter sizes. I need to be able to use the top triple tree clamp from a Bandit 1200 so that I can easily mount the speedo gauges rather than trying to fabricate something on the existing top triple clamp of my 93 GSXR 750 top triple tree clamp. (not the Bandit 1200 version where the speedo gauges mounted to the front fairing, the version where they actually mounted to the top triple tree clamp) These are my existing forks: This is the type of top triple tree clamp that I need to mount onto my existing forks: This is the style speedometer gauges I want to mount: Not these: If any of you experts out there have ever made this swap or know of the answer I'd be most appreciative. Thanks......... Quote

Not going to happen in a million years. Mark.2 bandit forks are right way up, top clamp 43mm diameter and (i.I.R.C.) 200mm spacing on the centers, and '93 gsxr750 has upside down forks, top clamp 50mm and 214mm spacing. 2 hours ago, Neveragain55 said: I need to be able to use the top triple tree clamp from a Bandit 1200 so that I can easily mount the speedo gauges rather than trying to fabricate something on the existing top triple clamp of my 93 GSXR 750 top triple tree clamp No you don't need to! Not the hardest job to make a bracket using the gsxr750's speedo mount holes (located underneath the top yoke) to mate to the mk.2 clocks. I made a simple bracket out of some 3mm armor plate. Just had to make sure I cleared the ignition and use all the rubber grommets from the old Mk.2 bracket for damping. I have an everyday hack mk.1 bandit with mk.2 engine, loom and the clocks (same as the second set you have shown). The clocks are mounted to a gsxr 1100 water cooled upside down front end. Quote
