Slabby Fairings

Quite possibly a daft question, but  are slabby headlamp fairings (400-1100) all the same size, and are the mounts/light units interchangeable across the models and years?

The 85 750F is different from all of them, and the later(G H) either have 3 or 2 fixings to the mid panels. Couldn't tell you what models are what though.
