E T Posted September 27, 2015 Share Posted September 27, 2015 A mate just bought an srad to sort & sell on, story is the vacuum tap was letting fuel by pas, it hyrauliced and burnt out starter trying to start it. He got it home drained oil/fuel 6ltrs of it ! Fitted another starter put fresh oil in changed plugs cleaned the carbs, it started fine if a bit smokey, so it starts fine and ticks over nicely but try and ride it and its fine to approx 7000rmp and bog down real bad.
