Ben Slabby Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 (...) we dont know what the original gear is from the engine as it was replaced by previous owners.I assume you mean the actual drive gear? Or the whole engine? :confused : Quote
sazzles2 Posted September 12, 2015 Author Posted September 12, 2015 the bit that attaches to the alternator. apparrently the alternators off the bandit and the gsxr are the same but the gear bit at the end is different, (we had the wrong one on and its smashed up clutch drive. )think Ive managed to include pics this time Quote
Ben Slabby Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 So you've replaced the drivegear on the back of the clutch, is it appropriate number of teeth for the 1100 K motor? In which case, see Fatbloke's post. 1 Quote

fatblokeonbandit Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 The gear on the clutch basket is 37 teeth on the small cog that drives the oil pump and 66 in the bigger one that drives the alternator Quote
