Fitting the K2-K4 headers are discussed in the thread above. Not a straight fit, but possible. I'm about to give it a go myself.

Yes, questionable is a good way to describe some of them. However as time has gone on, I'm find myself liking them more and more.
In terms of your red and black body work, a full set including the tank is currently on Eblag. Described as being in mint condition. If you want a nicer set it might be worth looking at.

You've done well to get a full replacement set of fairings. I've always liked the red and black colour schemes.

I loved my TLR. It was a great road bike and a lot of fun to ride. I'd like to have another one.

I currently have a set of them on one of my projects, although I haven't ridden the bike with them fitted. I can't understand why they decided not to put a heel guard on the left hand side.

The 1100K swingarm was also shorter than the L, M and N, but still longer than the 750.

I have the same model. I have an Ohlins rear shock and the forks have upgraded springs and Racetec gold valves. Swapped out the rear wheel for a 5.5 inch one. No stability problems on modern tyres. With braided brake lines the standard brakes are adequate for street riding.
