Look the same as the Micron brace, if so the bottom of the cross member part will sit about level with the bottom of the fork seal/dust cover on the fork.

    OK thanks

  2. Has anyone fitted one of these fork braces ?. I was looking to get one for my GS1000 but was wanting to find out how much clearance there was between the brace and guard as i am fitting a fiberglass race style front guard which may sit a little lower than standard and didn't want to see to much of a gap. I can't get an answer from fastec.

I'm currently very happy with my 20mm over Maxton rear shocks. Not sure they've made much difference to sharpening the steering, but it doesnt wallow fully laden, or tramping on round fast bends.

Thanks, I have just had a look at there shocks and sent them an email

Just wondering why You want to raise the Ride height?.

Its not necessarily to adjusted handling,  although will steer quicker it is purely to give it a more aggressive look

What swingarm is that on your bike?

Sorry for late reply.  Swingarm is a cal-fab California fabrications.  They were big in the 80s making parts for the AMA riders. They went under but now been resurrected by the guy who also made my exhaust , Chris at Motogp werks.  You can check them out on Facebook

Welcome! Nice bike- any better pics?

Gurls blouse cb900f rear shocks are 360mm eye to eye as aposed to yours (320ish mm) and will fit if you file the bush on the swingarm down by a mm or so.

Not sure how far you can go- but you could work it out using a piece of bar/timber to mock up max shock length before chain fouls.

Thanks, I'm perhaps wanting a more modern shock, ill do some research

  7. Thanks but I'm just wanting to add more rear ride height for the look to make it sit higher at back, also going to be adding some tarozzi rearsets unless anyone knows of a more modern set that can easily be adapted to fit.
