where the bushing is they lipped a bit of the metal around it and put some rtv or something on it so it wouldnt move

there is no retainer plate on this year and model to fix the issue they hammered a piece of metal to stop the bushing from coming out

So i was riding on the 4th of July and all of a sudden oil started leaking out of my crankcase. NOT A SMALL LEAK. I took the crankcase apart and thought it was a gasket issue. But after further inspection, This bushing was protruding out and I think i put too much oil and it caused this bushing to bust. If anyone could let me know what this is it would be greatly appreciated. Working on my first bike is very frustrating but rewarding when you hopefully figure out the problem.
