Doing a caliper refurb and somebody told me the bleed nipples were 8mm x 1.25mm thread. I ordered some off eblag but they are fooking massive and don't go anywhere the the holes in the caliper. measured the old ones at 6mm, are they 1mm thread? Can anyone confirm? Ta

Damper rod forks are pretty basic, things have moved on a lot since. Their limitations mean they're harsh at high speed suspension movements (hitting a bump in the road at speed) and soft under low speed (braking). Guess it's possible to get a decent setup with springs and oil tuning...........

Think these can be done pretty cheaply, if you do it yourself, they're advertised on Eblag amongst others. Just need the ID of the forks.

Think we're talking about 2 different things here, people have fitted the standard GSXR 1000 K1/2 titanium headers (by heating and spreading like boilerdude said and got decent gains, not sure how much better the Micron Serpent headers would be? Good thing is that the standard GSXR headers are pretty cheap on eblag. I got a set for £30 posted, although not fitted as yet.

Can anyone help with size/thread of slabby caliper bleed nipples. Have some info that they are M8 x 1.25mm but not certain?
750 slabby bleed nipples size?
