  1. To be honest I was just going to copy what you have BigKen.

But after looking at the way other people have made them with different methods of getting balanced  air delivery to each inlet I thought it would be easy to make the plenum a little deeper and add a plate to form two chambers.

I havent a clue if it would make anything better but I am worried about making things worse lol

I am about to build my first Plenum.

What are the thoughts about a simple design like BigKen but have a plate above the inlet forming a lower chamber and a row of slots in the plate.

Would that cause too much backpressure ?

  3. Those yokes are fine Clive great addition, its coming along great.

I think I have to buy one of those plate hangers just cos of the price its unreal how it can be made and shipped isn't it  !!

  4. Thanks for that, fantastic work on your plenum by the way.

The Welding is taking some cracking its sort of running away with me if that makes sense.

I am gona have a lot more experiment with pulse and heat for the next one also make some decent plugs for purge line.

  5. Got my act together over the weekend heres the result Happy with the manifold in general but not my welding Shit is the word that comes to mind, lol

Anyhow its given me good experience for the next one.

New plan use this one to get bike up and running then build a new header at my leisure.

  6. Thanks Colin that's a nice clear pic of it on the bike. Just out of curiosity you said you welded it on a head did you also purge, that's a lot of places for gas to leak all the joints and pipe ends .
