Given the amount they cost, it wouldn't exactly kill APE to install a sight glass during manufacture
Yeah plus new bearings, seal and the spindle from your old cover.
Think the bandit gsxr sight glass might fit

Got Dyna S but kinda wishing I'd gone for 2000

Motors good spec so wanting to make the most of it

Anyone here using ignatech on their GS/gsx?
Wondering what's the best between Dyna 2000 & ignatech

I'd go for 10 mm offset front sprocket
Will allow you to upgrade to b12 wheel an 170 tyre without notching frame
-

I have a b12 wheel with a 170 tyre in the standard et swinger
Used the gsx sprocket carrier and 10mm offset sprocket
18/48 530 .
Gsxr1100 m torque arm mounted to the centre stand mount

Its only going to be temporary. Have a clock set from an 1100m somewhere
Just wondered if it would work till i have the cover off again

Can anyone recommend an alternative rev counter for gsx1100et
Im using the standard clocks and want to keep them. The tacho drive is blanked off at the momen and a will probably put drive gears in it later when the camcover is off. But in the mean time can i use a tacho from a later gsxr if i make up a bracket?

Wanted tobdo away with the torque arm so got this made and welded on
Still to get the swinger painted over the winter time

Fittings and hose from torques uk are good quality and value
Not expensive to make up your own lines
-
Ta just having a go at making some bits myself. you can buy the brackets to fit but only cost a few quid to make these
-

Im not asking about the 16 in wheel though
Im only asking if the 3"wheel from and is a straight fit on to an et rear axle using the et spacers
Should have worded my original post better
-
A few 18" on the bay
But they are more expensive than es/efe stuff plus add discs + hub etc it ads up. Be as well doing bandit wheels again
Already got bandit wheels on my et But im wanting to do another gsx but with more 80s stuff.
Nothing really to do about upgrading or handling its more about the look
-
Yes that's right
Not to bothered about that for now
Its more the period mod thing
-
Wee question
Although it's popular to fit bandit or gsxr wheels onto our old aircooled bikes these days was wondering if efe wheels fit on to an 1100et axle without faffing about making spacers etc
Must have been a common upgrade back in the day
Wanting to do a more period upgrade look
-
Im using 18/48 with 10mm offset on the front sprocket on my gsx1100
-
Gone for a 3/8. Hope it will clear the frame
5/8 to much on mine
Thanks
-
Ive tried a 5/8 but it looks to much
Was wondering if i should have got a 10 mm instead
-
Hi
Must have been loads of folk fitted bandit or gsxr wheels to gsx1100s in the past
I fitted bandit 1200 rear to the standard et swingarm. Still have exact alignment to be set but what offset front sprocket am i looking for. Using 530 pitch

Perfect. Ta
