  1. Cheers. Will try 10w cos what damping was there seemed a bit light. Got some SKF double lipped seals. Didn't cost much so worth a try.
  2. Folks. Bike is a 1982 GSX1100 EZ. So can you tell me what the distance is between the frame where the swingarm fits? I am considering different options but would like an accurate start point. Thanks in advance
  3. Folks. What weight of oil is used in the stock 1989 GSXR1100 steering damper?
  4. Excellent advice. I am going to avoid nitrous for now and just get used to the bike on a few RWYB's. I am best chucking some more cash at my GSXR turbo and getting that sorted for next year. Thanks
  5. OK . fast as I can on stock motor using nitrous, cost no problem, Then I want to build a big block motor and head for the 9's.
  6. Right folks, I have a standard Bandit 1200 motor with 36mm RS carbs (no airbox) in a long and low chassis that I will be using for a bit of straight lining. I want to go with nitrous and if it works out I will beef up the motor as time goes on. (I've got spare bandit and GSXR motors). So where do I start? Cheers
  7. brilliant. I am considering a complete M/N setup so the bit about part 33 is a great help. many thanks
  8. Evening Folks. I have a 1989 GSXR1100 with the very flat profile headlights. I was wondering if I could fit the complete fairing with brackets off the later slingshot. So question is are the frame mountings the same? Cheers
  9. Evening folks. Can you please identify this leg. It is 52 mm diameter into top yolk. My current USD forks are 50mm which came from an SRAD 750 so is this a later 750/1100? Cheers
  10. Spot on advice. I ordered the bearing and you were correct 30 x 47. Typical that it was before Gammaboy posted.
  11. OK so i have a K7 front end now but the stem is 28mm that doesn't leave a lot for A bearing in the GSX head. Need to check with bearing specialist. getting there.
  12. Evening. Quick question are the clutch covers interchangeable between the early 1100ET/EX and the later 1135 EF/EG Cheers
  13. Evening. Wondering if the later GSXR750K6/7 USD forks go in the same as the earlier SRAD ones. frame is 1982 1100EZ
  14. So are you sure the MK1 1200 airbox rubbers will fit Cos When asking for replacement K&N's MK1 1200 Bandit is 58 round. Also MK1 carbs appear on Fleabay as both round and oval..... Actually I am going to message some of the ones on Fleabay and see if any are oval. Silicone hose not an option. Thanks anyway
  15. Evening folks I have a couple of sets of Mikuni 36mm carbs supposed to be GSXR/Bandit. Problem is that the inlet flange is oval 64mm high 58mm wide. I currently have some brutalised K&N filters on a set on a bandit engine in EF frame and want to get an airbox made up. What model airbox/rubbers do I need too get to fit? Cheers
  16. Thanks. The forks I have are roughly 750 just need new seals so I'll see how they go and watch out for some Bandit ones at the right price.
  17. Evening. I have 43mm GSXR 750 forks in my EFE but want a bit more height. Are bandit MK1 longer in stanchion length?
