  3. Happy new year chaps , doing a project . Have a 92 oil cooled gsxr 1100 frame and complete vrf 750 fn 92-94 swinger . Swinger does not fit straight in . Be good if it did lol . Can anyone provide me with some direction as to how i go about installing this myself ? I have a lathe so spacers are,nt a problem . ( How much do i need to shave off frame swing arm pivot point faces for correct chain run e,c,t ? All info greatly appreciated P,S. i dont have a motor yet ! This project is ground up source every part build
  4. hi i am doing same conversion 92 1100 frame 92 vfr 750 fn swinger , doesnt go straight in ! as i was told ? hey ho . Can you tell me how much is needed to be removed from swing arm pivot points on frame to be able to install swing arm , and allow correct chain alignment . Cheers
  5. Ive ordered a new cooler now . But intend to try and repair damaged one . going to have a go at aluminium brazing. just waiting for kit to turn up ? we,ll see how that goes ??lol
  6. cheers Gixer1460 . Im going to have a go at a repair , as ive nothing to loose ? lol . Im more pissed off with myself for the loose mounting bolt that caused the leak in the first place
  7. guys have wound up with a leaking marix / core on my cooler . is it possible to do a diy fix . or is it goosed ? pissed off cause its a 19 row setrab quality one that was a steal at £17 . and we all Know how much to buy new these are ??? .Also has anyone got one lying around that they can sell me for a reasonable price ? if mine cant be fixed? If its 1052 CC motor the end of the final drive shaft has a threaded hole in the end . ive done this conversion . you,ll need gsrxr digital clocks or bandit clocks and the correct clock loom (important) plus a speedo rotor and pick up and obviously a clutch casing . i used my slabby original clutch cover and drilled it. ive done the same conversion on my mates harris 2 with bandit 1200 engine . We used a 15mm plumming compression fitting nut and liqiud metal to attach speedo rotor to the compression fitting nut. You just screw it on to drive shaft . Theres just enough thread showing to hold compression nut on plus some lock tight !lol Both speedos work a treat . and no drilling
