Had zxr 9 wheel in gsxr arm in an efe , sat half inch to the right

Just a thought , but are you sure it's a 5.5 rim ? Straight spokes suggest later 6 incher especially with that wide sprocket hub

As pedda said , fairing is fine , rear tank mount needs moving forward a couple of inches and side panel mounts welding on ,seat lock is in a different position and higher than katana one ,
May be easy for some but this took a lot of time and effort to get everything to line up

Bloody beautiful and the footage of it on the track is mental !

gsx take this which ever way you choose but what experience have you got with riding Katana's with modified suspension fitted ??
A twin shock kat with bandit arm and water cooled 11 forks , brand new hagon shocks at standard 330 centres that were kindly exchanged for 365 mm by same .
Rebuild the lot into 750 frame that me and a mate monoshocked to get the desired ride height . . . Have a look on pro boards for build thread

Chris if you look here Rob explains how easy it is and the problems you come across http://www.suzuki-katana.com/katana_suspension.html and on this page it shows the swingarm bushes and the lower shock brackets http://www.parts.suzuki-katana.com/ at least you can see and know the pro's and con's
just take into account that this is American and they don't have corners , think he says not to jack up the back , you need to ! Also Steve Adams ran silly short k series forks which is fine but if you don't . . Jack up the arse end or it won't handle

Mine cost 100 quid at a local engineering firm including the alloy welding , drew up the shock mounts to take original suzuki bushes .
