  1. I have  re routed cable with standard style cable it’s made a big improvement. Got new clutch springs and plates on the way. As I think it’s got heavy duty springs  as I seem to remember the previous owner saying he fitted them because the clutch was slipping a bit

I have seen a couple of these over the years. Reduces pull effort and pull length at clutch end.

Yes I was looking at these. First thing I am going to do is buy some oem springs as I think they are heavy duty in it at the moment.

  3. Unfortunately I may have to sell my newly built katana 1100 due to the clutch being so heavy I can’t pull it in more than 6 times will my bad fingers.  it is so heavy it almost needs two hands. I really don’t want to part with it so do you guys have any ideas?

  4. Fired it up and it’s not running good. I have fitted a air corrector kit from grumpy. When I give it a rev it misses and flames out pipe. Should I move the neadles up a bit? Can you get a dyno jet kit for the cv carbs?

  5. Getting very close now I am just about to fit the coils. Does anyone have any pics off Dyna coils fitted as I can’t remember what way the wires go ect it’s been so long since I stripped the bike.

  6. Made a bit more progress, wheels are painted and have new tires, engine is fully bolted in, speedo bracket made, chain jockey wheel done,  body work prepped and primer. Front mudguard cut down and painted. Next on the list is the wiring loom and battery tray.
