steelelc Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 hi everyone doing a bit more work on my et after getting it last week bought the vacuum gauge all the carbs were all over the place needs another go to get it bang on but alot better, nocked it on head with it being really warm night few issues though plugs are veering towards white and when I looked at the bike and still doesn't like to hold a constant throttle surges up and down,up to about 4k pulls clean after that when you look at the intake boots between carbs and head you can see them surging almost with the revs, thinking it's the mixture question is it's a us bike did a bit of reading and us ones have a 170 pilot, also in the book it says pilot screws are Pre set from factory any idea what the setting is guys it's a 1981 also am I right in saying it should be on the top of the carbs or is it between carbs and airbox side? Bit different to my vm32s on the 350lc haha any advice massively apreciated Quote
