gearhead141 Posted Thursday at 09:05 PM Posted Thursday at 09:05 PM (edited) I have seen a couple of these bikes in my local area that are dirt cheap. After searching the internet, I guess I can see why. I find few, if any sources for parts. The carbs are I believe Mikuni bws30 and I can't even find bowl gaskets. Checking the Mikuni website and I don't even see that carb model listed. It's not worth even looking at these bikes if parts are not available. If any of you own one of these, what have your experiences been like? Have any of you had luck finding carb parts and if so, was it an Eblag seller or an internet source? Perhaps my search is incorrect and the carbs are listed as something other than bws30. I'm just curious if anyone out there has had luck with this. gearhead141 Posted Friday at 12:31 AM Author Posted Friday at 12:31 AM I apologize; the identifier for the carb is BSW30SS. Quote
gs7_11 Posted Friday at 02:16 PM Posted Friday at 02:16 PM (edited) You can make your own gaskets. O rings are standard. What other parts are needed? I would guess that Mikuni used parts that are common to other carbs, should you for instance need a float valve or a jet. Most carb rebuild kits are full of parts you don't really need to change.
