Rob_K Posted October 12 Posted October 12 So I wanted to clean the carbs on my gs750, they were all nice and clean, but I did need to replace a couple of things. They all came off really easily and to by surprise they just went straight on. That's where the fun ended in quite a big way. One and a half hours fighting with the airbox trying to get it back on to the carbs and I gave up. Is there a trick to this, or does this mean my inlet stubs have had it or is it always a fight to get these on. Very happy to buy new ones, no problem but not if the fight will continue. Any help in understanding this would be appreciated. Quote
gs7_11 Posted October 12 Posted October 12 (edited) The GS750 airbox is one of the easiest to fit, so sounds like you need new rubbers. Airbox Rubbers Once the carbs are on, it should slide in easily behind the carbs, then push forward onto the carb inlets. Squish the rubber snorkel at the airbox rear, and make sure everything is out of the way, like wiring. Sidepanels off, obviously. Edited October 12 by gs7_11 1 Quote
