New exhaust turnout angle on my 1979 GS 1000l ??

I am in welding school trying to put Tig welding in my toolbox so someday I can open a top end fab/hot rod shop, they don't teach tig in the coal industry so much. If you're looking from the back of my motorcycle, the turnouts used to be oriented at 9:00 and 3:00 left to right. Since I'm in welding school I cut off the tips knocked out the baffles, and Tig welded them back on with the orientation that I preferred. As you can see they are now oriented more along the lines of 7:00 and 5:00. I don't know how many fellow owners out there have knocked the baffles out of their pipes, but it turned this old girl into a fire breathing Japanese beast the likes of which I have not rode before, at least air cooled. I mean no joke, they sound is incredible. It reminds me of a formula 1 engine. The exhaust note is beautiful. What do you guys think? Do you think I did all right? With all humility ,I think it looks like a pretty pro job. No reason for the pic of my boy, just a future GS owner. Lol.IMG_20240223_171258.jpg
