Questions regarding my '84 GS1150ES forks

Hi everyone:

I'm new to the forum.  I hope you are all staying happy and healthy.

I'm in Arizona USA and I purchased a 1984 GS1150ES that I'm restoring.

I know lots of you have updated the front suspension on your bikes.  I very much want to keep the forks as-is but I really dislike the air pressure unit on the fork uppers that link the forks together (I can improve the forks without that assistance, and will use updated fork springs and fork oil.)

Here's my question:  Do you know of any fork uppers that DON'T have the holes drilled and the indentations that hold the air pressure "cuffs" in place?  I'd like to replace the stock fork uppers with a different set if possible, that will allow me to use all of the other GS1150ES fork parts.
