berty Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Hi all, am currently running v+h 4-1 but thinking a different tone Marving 4-1 for 2016 . Anyone have experience with both ? Much difference ? Quote
Sparky1074 Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Just sold my Marving for my 1100ET...it was a really good exhaust, superbly made. The only reason I sold it really was because it just sounded a bit to quiet for my taste. Are you looking to selling your V&H then, is it the megaphone type or the drag type. Quote
berty Posted December 6, 2015 Author Posted December 6, 2015 (edited) Sorry but not looking to sell my v and h . Is the non drag type . Does sound good but always nice to have a choice I recon . Edited December 6, 2015 by berty Grammar Quote
Sparky1074 Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Yeah know what you mean...did you have to re-jet your carbs for the Vance and Hines ?. They look really good I think, are they offensively loud or not to bad, I had a Marshall four into one on an ET years ago and that was loud...very loud. Quote
berty Posted December 6, 2015 Author Posted December 6, 2015 When running original carbs with pods I recall I did re jet carbs . Can't remember figures though . Although am running rs mikuni's with trumpets these days , which don't need much messing around with . As for loudness - full bore yeah I would say its pretty loud . Loud enough at low revs to be heard when filtering - which is always a bonus in my books . Quote
