I am looking for a set for my 750wp 1993 street fighter project

Do you still want to get rid of them?

Where are you located and would you post to Australia?

Age/ condition? How many miles on them? what model are they off?

Were they working when removed? I have a set , but the cost of refurb is almost as expensive as an alternative replacement set

Pm me if you want to do a deal ,

More likely the small holes just downstream of the butterfly are plugged. poke them out with a small diameter wire. Pull one out of a wire brush, thin and strong.

Also factory pro kits are pretty good!

Well got her idling all good eventually....gunked up pilot jets . and it wasn't long ago that I checked them out.

Anyhoo moving on goto spend some time now with the family for the last bit of the easter weekend and earn some brownie points so I can sort a small fuel leak and start tuning her up. she don't sound too bad either with the Laser exhaust either.

If it dies completely would I have more than 1 blocked as it doesn't splutter or cough it just dies completely. surely it would idle if only on 3 cylinders? or would it

  5. Factorypro stage 3 kit fitted.

#147.5 jet , 3rd clip on needle and fuel screw 2.5 out and started the ole girl.
Eventually she coughed to life although a bit rough on the choke. And again as soon as she get some throttle she dies.

I did notice if I get her off the choke and give her some throttle over 2.5k she responds to the throttle but only if I keep the revs up. If I let the revs drop she dies.

So she won't idle properly she dies a death without the choke or below 2.5k.....would this be anything to do with the pilot jet? Or any other ideas how to resolve?

    Cheers in advance guys

  6. Hi Guys,

another question bout tuning the ole carbs off a Gsxr750 wp "93

Anyone had any experience with fitting a factory pro stage 2 kit (me thinx) with BMC pod filters .

I have removed the ole air box and fitted the pods and the ole girl won't get off the choke. She starts on choke but as soon as I give her some throttle on the stand the stutters to a halt but starts up no probe on the choke again.

The carbs have been cleaned and a new seal kit throughout. float heights set as per manual (to the best of my ability) and the rest of the carbs are stock. I have a kit from factory pro which was advised for with the pod filters but  i don't know where to start with jetting etc. Hopefully thats where someone here may be able to help,

Can anyone give advice as to  where to start with jet sizes needle heights etc as to be quite honest i don't know too much about carbs/tuning etc and can't even drive her at the mo as she won't come off choke .

I know everyone say don't do the pod filter thing... but too late here to go back.

Hopefully it is something I can sort myself as I would like to learn and too skint o pay for someone to sort.

    Cheers ,
