  1. I used the gen parts straight out the SGP bags. The old ones were black, the new a dark green and feel a little harder shore rubber. I seem to think they were a superseded part.
  2. Hi All Im new posting here -have a ‘98 GSX750w Inazuma that’s finally found its way back to one pieces after a few years of restoration. I didn’t do much with the engine as it ran fine before hand and it fired up first time for the first time today (not bragging I promise!). Oil cooler and pipes came off for repainting and fresh O Rings in the flanged connections between the cooler and hoses. After 10 minutes of tick over we noticed a small leak at the left hand cooler flange, which soon developed into a steady weep between the two flanges. Checking the O Ring and flange faces revealed no damage or obvious leak path. Suspecting a potential blockage we reconnected the left side and disconnected the right side flange to test for flow through cooler. Here’s where we have become unstuck. With a very short cranking of the engine, oil came flowing out of both the disconnected right hand hose (which we now know is the cooler feed) and the right hand flange of the cooler. Anyone with any insight into the oil circuit on these engines and any possible causes for the leak and odd flow directions would be helping us out massively.
