I dont really have any figures as such, I have just tried to get the front and back returning at  roughly the same rate.  That said if I put any more than one click more than the softest setting of the front forks the riding gets even worse.  As for how fat ahem........ the wife would prob argue that but I am 13st @ 5'7 (does that make me fat? )

Well I'm 5'6" and under 10st so I guess it does xD

  3. Been beating my 600f rocker cover for hours, sounds loose around the out side but it won't come off. Seems to be the plug hole seals. Any one got  any tips for getting them unstuck. the engine is cold and I had them off a few months back when I put the bike together, but now it's just not having it!

  4. My bike was sat for years. I never bothered with valve clearances, except checking them. It's now had an Italian tune( I love that termxD) and only now after a thousand + miles she needs shims oil and filter, sump off and oil pick up check. then it's time to see what it can do :) oh and new pads all round. Well that's how I've allways done it where shims are involved cos of the expence of the shims and the time it takes.

  5. Yeh try dropping them lol. Seriously, have you checked your cam chain, ign timing etc? flaming on the overrun is a sign of excess unburnt fuel in the exhaust. I'm sure if I'm wrong someone will pipe up :)

  6. Tidy :tu. I must admit I put my frame over the engine with no suspension or lower cradle fitted. I then tilted it forward to get the stand down, fitted the rear end then tipped it back and fitted the rest one 600 teapot sorted on my own :D ps it does help with the shed floor being earth covered with old chipboard and bits of carpet lol
