I inherited a set of the above with an 1135 motor and frame kit I purchased last November, as I’m now well on the way to finishing rebuilding it, I have decided life may be a lot simpler with a nice set of CVs from a mark 2 Bandit or similar. I far as I can tell they have had very little use and have sat for probably 3-4 years as an unfinished project in someone’s garage. I am happy to trade or sell the above, or should you have a set of CVs under your bench in the workshop please pm me asap.

I recently brought a frame kit fitted with a 1135 motor which has been standing for a few years someone had started to put nitrous on it and it had a packer under the barrels, which I have removed both, my question is what are the general opinions of running a set of the above carbs on these motors? am I really wasting my time for general road use and should be looking to fit a set of say 36mm cv as I have a spare pair in the shed.

Sorry I went back once and updated my request, which appears not to have come through, the engine is an 1127 with diaphragm clutch.

Would someone please be kind enough to give me the standard length of the slave cylinder side clutch push rod.

Good day Could anyone who has an above fuel tank be kind enough to take some pictures at various angles as considering making one, if you happen to have one off the bike underneath would also be of great help. I would really appreciate any help anyone can provide. (Like if you have one for sale) thanking you in advance.

Morning although my motor runs well enough, the outside looks a bit shabby to say say the least, after thirty years of people spraying and hand painting with pot black etc. Is there a generally preferred method and what is the colour most used if any please? thanks in advance.

If you have one of the above frame kits, what fuel tank have you put on? They were designed originally apparently for a fireblade tank but IMHO they are not the most desirable shape. So if you have a pest frame lease let me know.

Good evening does anyone know if the alternators internal voltage regulator will support a lithium battery, ie not overcharge it ? any info greatly received.
