  1. Thanks for all your inputs! Super helpful! I finally found 2 places that fix wheels around me(Google wasn’t helpful strangely, but people were) one is 3 times the price of the other. I’m not sure why though…
  2. Thank you all for all the valuable insights. The wheel is bent according to the mechanic and the disk is making a noise while riding. That last visit to the shop made me want to do more myself. If the wheel is bent to the point it causes issue with the brakes. I would have expected them to call me before putting the tire on… now I have to remove the wheels, disks and tire and bring it to the rim fixing shop…
  3. It’s the garage that told me that the wobbly feeling I had wasn’t the tire that was done and deformed but the rim that was bent. There’s some intense dent we can’t really see that well in the picture I guess but some are like 20-30mm out… my hesitation was that the only shop that seem to do that less than 3 hours away said because of the chrome it might ruined the wheel.
  4. Thank you so much for all the info! I guess I’ll try the wheel repair route then. I really like my wheels!
  5. Hi! I need to change my front wheel on my gsf1200 2002. I had nice chrome wheels but now changing the wheels for new ones is the same price as the value of the bike. I looked into getting them fixed but it’s pretty bad and there’s a chance they won’t be able to fix it. I bumped into someone who had a bandit 10years ago and told me that the gsxr wheels were compatible but could not tell me which model for sure. They both are 17” and 3.5” width. The newbie that I am is tempted to buy it since it is more readily available than the bandit ones and cheaper but I want to make sure I won’t have any issues fitting the disk, spacers or any other parts I’m trying to remember from the diagram. any tips?
  6. My turn to bring this thread alive! I have a bandit 1200 2002 and just killed the front rim against a evil Canadian pothole… Anybody knows if the gsxr wheels fit? I can’t find the bandit ones around here. I checked the size they are both 17” and 3.5”width with 5 holes but Im not sure about the brakes and the spacers or anything else I might missing. What do you think?
