@vizman sorry. Now I'm actual sat down and reflecting upon the weekend with rose tinted glasses I can see I misinterpreted your question. It's a 6" piece of cheap fake wood with a sticker. It's the thought that counts.

Good weekend by those that made the effort. Talks were made on improving the stand for next year.

Mark you deserve a pat on the back.

I will quite happily travel round the UK next year pinching bikes from garages for the stand.

Them tray of Fox's biscuits didn't last long.

Just had next year's date confirmed, and it's the weekend of the 25th&26 of March

So plenty of time for people to start getting bikes built.

Yea it was a good looking stand, well done to all involved.

Hopefully have a bike to put on there soon.

Put a few faces to names too which is always good.

    Cheers everyone

Good to see you again Dan, hopefully the Turbo project will be ready for next years stand!

  3. At the risk of sounding like a blubbering actress at an award ceremony, big list of people to thank for making this weekend happen;

Bazza, for riding you super clean bike through the rain to get to the show

Sibag, for allowing me to disappear off with your bikes in the back of a van

Fod, for allowing me to take the Slabby at the last minute

Kev, for bringing the wheelie bike and bringing Paul's too

Ziggy for coming over from Yorkshire on a Friday night,

Mark for agreeing to bring your bike at the 11th hour

Paul, for allowing me to put the bike on the stand

Minx and Viz for sorting the banners out and getting them to me

Apologies if I've missed anyone, but huge thanks, I really appreciated the help this weekend.

    Looking forward to Donington.

    H.

It's all down to Harry and his tenassity of chassing bikes, running arround, picking them up etc etc.....

I'd like to take all the credit,  but it's very much down to the generosity of members allowing their bikes to be put on the stand.

Good luck for this weekend! I've shared that OSS has a stand at the show on our Facebook and Twitter pages to let more people know.

Thanks Banoffee, I'm here and set-up with the new banners (Thanks Minx).  Anyone else want to join us?  Let me know, as long as you can get your bike here before the show opens tomorrow, we can get you in.  See you at the show.

  6. So one of the race bikes that was meant to be on the stand still isn't back from the exhaust fabricators, so we're down another bike.  Come on folks, anyone else fancy the show this weekend, there must be OSS bikes out there that we could put on the stand.  Give me a shout.

Anyone need a lift to the show? Im taking one of our 18 tonners so can help on Leeds - Manchester route. Plenty of space, ratchets and blankets if needed and tail lift for ease. Thinking of going Fri aft but may go Sat early morning if needed.

    Thanks Ziggy

Is there a loading entrance I need to find?

Sorry, should have put this in my last reply.  As you approach event city, there is a road off to the right which brings you around to the back of the building, it was signposted last year.

Can I come up Friday Evening as I'm out doing normal people things on the Friday at Alton Towers. Big Kid n that.

Its only an hour from my place. 7-8pm otherwise early O'Clock Saturday it is

The build-up closes at 8pm on Friday, as long as you can make it before then, that's great, I don't mind hanging around until then.  If not, then Saturday morning is fine mate, just let me know either way.

    Still need more bikes.
