My knees are right against the ridge on the side of the tank instead of below them , I don’t think they are meant for 6’2 people

Or just buy a gsx-s 1000.
My knees don’t fit the tank on them , it’d be down to bare metal within 6 months

Unless it's for a hyper tuned track bike and you're one hell of a rider, (so if none of that applies and it's just for a road bike), Mikuni RS will be plenty good enough, and of course, the cheapest
I’ve had loads of rs carbs and tbh honest fancy something a bit more refined

There was a thread not long back with someone who’d fitted all 3 back to back on the dyno with a gsxr750 race bike . Has anyone got a link ? Tempted to bite the billet on a set of tmr’s

I’ll be up for it

Unless I get asked to put a collection of blandits in the marquee again i'm up for it. Even if I do get asked I may not bother lol

If we're going for guesses, I'll take won't rev cleanly as it has a flat spot and dies past it.
I'd go with hanging throttle , I also had issues using the 1200 throttle cables. 600 ones are straight so run into the carb much easier

What you struggling with ?

My love hate relationship with flatslides continues , I’ve picked up a clean set of 36’s that all being well will be going on my 1216 bandit.
Previously I’ve had 38’s on it which were slightly lean on 135’s so were fitted with137.5’s just to be on the safe side. Does anyone have any settings for 36’s on a 1216 just as a base setting , I’m tempted to start with 135’s -

Yes they're interchangeable. The bandit 12 slave cylinder piston has a blind hole that the push rod sits in. The gsxr piston doesn't so has a slightly shorter push rod than the 1200 one. You will have to piss around push rods lengths to get the clutch spot on.
I tried a few different lengths of pushrod and the original bandit one is the correct length

Are the above interchangeable or does it require a different push rod ?

Laverda , not the easiest to fit. Probably why I’ve never seen another used

Carb sneezing is usually a sign of being lean. Quite a lot of bandit 12’s do it , usually a half turn out on the mixture screws sorts it

Worth double checking as some Brembos are 65mm
-
The list isn't correct as triumph t595/509 calipers are 83mm centres not 90mm, the earlier triumphs were 90mm. What are the centres on your forks Stevie

There’s drawings in the files section that I managed to find

Is there a common cause for the ES clocks not to work ? The bike starts and runs , the high beam light will Illuminate but nothing else.
When I’ve put power directly to the clocks I’ve had the indicator and back lights illuminate .
On one start up of the bike the tacho, oil and neutral lights briefly worked but not any more.
I’ve even gone to the trouble of fitting a different loom which was in much better condition but the results were the same

Are these drawing still available ?

1127 or 1157 oil boiler will fit in that
I keep looking into it and it seems a 750 is an easy fit but not so much the 11/12
Gsxr fuel tap flow/flatslides

I’ve ran Flatslides off/on for years on my 1216 bandit. Two fuel pipes on the carbs into a T then one single upto the tap with a vacuum as per standard. Flows fine and works perfectly
