The seat panel fitting have been chopped of the tank so looks like I'm keeping as it is, the rear light is some 1990 m&p special so looking at rear light options, does the original rear light mount direct to the frame with the bracket or does it fit to the undertray? Thanks

Buy yourself a manual matey it will answer a lot of the simpler questions you have far quicker than waiting for a response on here sometimes.

  2. Just bandits sell a dyno jet kit for the bandit 6 to run pod filters. BUT when quickie from the quick bikes youtube channel used the kit and ran it on they dyno it still didn't run that well. They ended up changing the jets. Unfortunately quickie died before they could dyno the bike with the new jets. If you watch his channel he might say what he was going to use

  3. Got a set off nissin calipers for the Gay 7/11 but the arse that sold them to me didn't tell me 2 of the mounting holes have stripped threads. Been in a cubard for months  so lost they guys details so they will have to be fixed if possible. Can I use a helicoil or is there a safer way to save the calipers17110345407866600919049266500909.thumb.jpg.0c5d0c8b79a1d46d348fb807d1a7ca1e.jpg

  4. With the complete k4 rear in place I can't get the wheels to line up without major work and still risk the chain fouling the frame. I do have a spare 750 wheel to try wich looks like it could fit and all line up. There isn't alot of space on the sprocket carrier to machine off so any machining would have to be done to the hub. When the weathers a little nicer I'm going to put the engine in the frame wich should show me I anythings twisted as no one else has had as many issues doing this conversation

  5. Well I've taken the front wheel off my K1 750 and put it in the Srad forks. Using the K1's spindle as its slightly longer. The wheel seems to be out by about 1mm. I'm guessing a 1/2 a mm shim on the captive spacers would fix it? (If I can find one)

The brakes and disks fit but clearances is tight to the outside of the caliper tho I'm guessing I could machine 1/2 a mm off the mounting points to get everything more or less spot on

My main worry is the disc isn't far off the top of the caliper could heat expansion of the disc make the foul?

  6. Looking at buying an exhaust for my 7/11 build with a powerscreen engine. I've put a bandit sump on there as there are options for bandit 1200 exhausts. I've been looking at the Delkavic and blackwidow as my options. The blackwidow is  more of a performance exhaust but I know the delkavic will fit without fouling anything. Has anyone used either exhaust? What is the quality and fit like?

Gsx600f but will work, you just need to match the pick up (ATU) or swop the CDI (ECU)

    Pm me if you're interested

I have the original 1100 cdi (tho the plastic case is damaged and was left open to the elements..... fucking rat bike builders) is it just plug and play or rewiring a plug?

Sorry, all I saw was the G and pictured the giant shaft drive bike in my head. A slabby harness should be a lot closer to fitting. I think some of them had an extra lead for a second ignition pickup, but you can just ignore that. Probably won't have all the connectors for the power screen gauges or the power screen, but should work for the engine

It's going into a slingshot frame so that's ok

Most likely not a direct swap as the G was a cruiser with everything in different locations than the powerscreen. The engine will most likely run with it as long as neither of those bikes had unique connectors, but I can't see it fitting everything else on the bike.

    That's the gsx f 1100 g. The gsxr 1100 g was a 1052 slabby. Add says its a gsxr 1100 g/h/j 1052 loom

£70??? I'd think he was taking the piss if he was asking more than a tenner! Robbing bastard!

And that was an offer he sent through E-blag he actually had them advertised for more!!! All the other cams I've seen are around the £150 for the pair so that was an alarm bell right there. I thought they were fucked but asked just in case I got lucky..... not a bloody chance

  11. I'm currently doing this and there was a lot of mixed information from people that had done this mod. The correct way is to use the slingshot bushes inside the K bushes as they fit perfectly. But here's the shitter you need to move the lower linkage mount down to make it all work as it should. Someone was selling brackets for this but has sold out and we don't know if he's gonna be making any more. I'm trying to make my own at the minute. And the top shock mount has to come away from the frame so will need a new bolt on mount. I'm using a k3/4 1000 swing arm as it doesn't use a torque arm on the rear caliper unlike the others. Looks cleaner
