I put three diafragma springs in for clutch
But... Why not the dothead conversion?
Shouldnt iT Also be considered?

Is there an easy way in? Or a layout somewhere to be found? have a leaky one I got out of storage to try out on but can’t figure out a way in.
Dont want to damage it with a screwdriver. So if there is shareable info
i would be gratefull

There is a trick where you adjust the lever for your bike (gsxr oiler) but since i wasnt interested i dont remember the info that well
something like "a kawa lever certain year would suit if you adjusted X by grinding down)
can look it up for you i interested

since i cannot upload the pictures (due to size) via phone just a description:
if u take the R
the upper right part, the bend to the bottom of the R-leg 8.5 cm (upper right to lower right)
the upper left white part (following the angle, keeping the lint straight) to the bottom left (horizontal) part about 10 cm
midsection upper part to midsection lower part 9 cm
upper left point (yes the point which is black) to the upper right (taking curve out of account) 21 cm
lower left to lower right end 11 cm
the black wide band on the left is 10 cm
right lower point to the ...how should i call it....junction on the is 5 if you take the right point to the red/black intersection (lol) mid-right
and to the white-black junction 8 cm
with a big smile on my face for the visual to literal translation

maybe farfeched but couldn't it be that the outlet valve is too tight causing the backspitting?

9,4 with a stock engine, nicely done
i am just wondering how do you shift or do you have a powershifter installed?
-
can't say anything but only drool
-
friend of mine did it and provided a pic
(lambda, for the dutchies amoung us)
only thing i wonder, is this the same for the 1250 versions? (fit in frame/boltsize difference)
-
i have to agree, the spondon frame did not do anything extras for the image
it is still the big sluggy bland bike

It's the valve seats themselves that are the critical area. Are you planning to strip the valves out and inspect the valves and seat contact surfaces? Be careful with the dremel that you don't take anything off the flat mating surfaces of the head around and between the valves. The broken exhaust port needs to be ally welded.
it's is worth checking out the valves indeed as you already have everything disassembled
-
I got some ally welding done on a set of crank cases by a local engineering company a couple of years ago and it cost me £30. Worth phoning around to find out what it would cost. Doesn't cost anything to find out.
that's a bargain compared to what the local shop here wanted to ask me....and the bike was completely assembled. so all that work for just a small alu welde of about 4 inches he was asking 150+
i think they were trying to con me
-
that's allways the problem with modifying,
when you do it you do it to your taste and that might not be the same as the next owner...
