  1. Hi, I got a little further, but despite illness on / off I have now been almost 2 years along the way, but now I almost finished my project, it certainly has not been easy, with some challenges, there was no room for the Mikuni 38mm, so I made a drastic decision and cut up the tank to change it so there was room for the Mikuni 38mm. it took me a lot of hours, but it succeeded, also had to cut the side faring to make it fit. i still have trouble getting the engine to take rpm when i run, i have put RamAir foam filters on and must have some bigger nozzles in, is there one who can advise me how big nozzle i should mount as i can see that it should be 112.5 standard should I have 115 or 117.5? I know the best thing would be to drive it to a pro and get it on a roll field, but its a bit cumbersome for me, I would like to drive a little this year
  2. Thanks Wraith , i will try that
  3. Wraith , but i don't know preset? is it about 4 turns out from bottom? i cannot assume that the preset fits now for all 4 are differently adjusted, from 2 -4 round out from the bottom
  4. Hi, is there anyone who can help with thea approx basic preset of air screw on GSXR 750 oil cooled BDST38, in the manual says that the UK model must be 1-1 / 8 turn back from preset
  5. hello, then i finally got the first start up, it started right away and goes fine at idle, but it has difficulty taking the gas in higher rpm, the engine has previously run with org. air filter box and other exhaust, but would think that it should be able to take the gas anyway, although it certainly must have other nozzle into the open RamAir filters and the open (temporary) exhaust
  6. thanks Wraith for the measurements of the B6 and B12 coolers, I bought a cooler from my local Suzuki dealer from a GSX 750 F which has the same dimensions as the GSX 750 R just straight and not curved
  7. nice with helpful people here
  8. doubt you are stupid
  9. If you remember it would be cool, but thank you anyway
  10. Do you think this from Biltema is big enough ?
  11. sorry but which cooler is a B6?
  12. Hi, then I tried if there was room for the exhaust and it looks like it fits, I doubt what oil cooler or rather how big it should be, the GSXR cooler is curved and it will look strange when it is a naked bike and the GSX esd cooler is probably WAY too small
  13. Hi, then I came a little further, I got the engine in the frame, I knew well that there would be problems with my 38mm carburettors, but thought that they were only gasoline tap that would not be room for, but then to my horror that the tank comes across the cylinder head , is there anyone that can tell how they have solved the problem that has made the same conversion from the GSX 750 esd? Do not want to cut the tank, but it may be necessary
  14. and thanks to Peterr for the Motor Mount drawings it help me alot
  15. Hey and thanks I have had most of my colon removed and got a stoma, but fortunately there was some colon left, so now they have brought the gut back and I have got rid of stoma It has been hard not to be able to get my project on, but now I work on it in all my spare time, but it is my first project so there have been a lot of challenges, but I hope to get it done this summer
  16. hey Sorry for the late reply , i had bin in and of of the Hospital for the last 8 month , how it goes with your project ? i machined 1,3 mm of both side of the frame to get the swingarm in place
  17. Thanks for the nice welcome
  18. Hi, first thank you for letting me being a part of this amazing community, I'm an old guy from 64 'and living in Denmark, I recently bought an older Suzuki GSX 750 esd from 83', I've recently read a lot of topics for converting especially oil-air cooled GSX, I'm in the process of rebuilding my GSX 750 esd, I've purchased a GSXR 750 from 92 ', I have provisionally mounted frontend usd, which was plug & play, I've mounted the swinger and has now reached challenges with the shock damper, has read about several who have made this modification , but have little difficulty to navigate and find topics again, so I must learn that, I will also mount the GSXR motor when I come so far, missing drawings of the new engine bracket. Sorry for my bad English , i use Google translate and often is that not the best way to make themselves understandable , but hope you understand me
