Thanks canamant I decided against it anyway and am looking for another b12 head till I get the dot one sorted not having much luck finding somewhere to do it and prices i have had seems like I might be better getting another head

The plan is to put top end onto bandit 6 chop that I'm building for somebody sorry wraith I'll start putting some pics up soon when I get 5 mins lol

Well managed to get a dot head turned up with one of the caps missing ffs so now I've got to get that sorted before I can use it but I have a 750 slab lump r705 with a good head but bottom not so could I use this head just to get me back on the road till I have sorted the dot head I will keep standard cams and run just as is I can't be doing with stuck in the car for another 3 weeks

Thanks for the reply wraith I thought that would be the case just wanted to be sure and how much you thinking swirl I just nearly bought a complete engine on the bay glad I checked in now

Just been reading past posts on this subject should of done that first really lol it says same engine up to 98 but some of these engines does not have the dot so are these heads no good has anyone used a non dot head from these years my head is shot so I have to get a replacement so if I'm swapping may as well get a little extra From it thanks
