  1. Thanks for the reply guys....prices seem to be getting silly these days...I looked about the same time last year and now people are asking/getting about a £1000 more again,if Im going to buy one needs to be pretty soon or they will be out of reach money like whats happened with the Katana for example

Is it always about the money ?  If it's mint and you actually plan on riding it..... buy it.

Defo going to ride it......Been know to loose my head a bit when buying bikes and was after sone reassurance if Im honest that Im not going to pay too much but if I like it who cares

Nothing better than going out for a spin with the boys on the modern litre bikes and pulling away from them on the straights on a "built in a shed" home brew .

:banana:Now thats why I want one haha!!

  4. A very clean 1100f powerscreen has  come up for sale and not take much notice of them in the past,I was thinking of taking a look as it looks near mint but opinions would be good.

If you're serious about buying and not doing yourself, get in touch with Dave Dunlop (Fastbyme on here)

I will take that onboard ,are you talking about buying  a turbo or a complete turbo bike

  6. Not sure if Im in the right category posting this but here goes...

Ive noticed since being on here that quite a few of you have  Turbo bikes, and Ive never had one:(

So now youve got me thinking about it my only problem is I wouldnt know my ass from my elbow with one,to get a bike and fit one or to buy  complete turboed bike:banana:

Wasn't Japan very restrictive and then moved to allowing only 400cc ... and the grey import business was born for models not sold anywhere except Japan and exported at x years when the cost of the equivalent of an MOT was too expensive to keep the bike on the road and buying a new model was more attractive?. :o)

Remember all this ,happened in the early 90's  thats when I got my first taste of slingshot in the way of gsxr400.... great times

This comes up from time to time. Anyone fancy researching and writing an article on the subject? Your name in lights etc :D

Great idea... Keep people like myself happy

Restriction typically was to 100bhp IIRC. Most French large capacity bikes were restricted back in the day if my brain is not playing tricks on me. Restriction was easily overcome in 99.9999% of cases.

France was a cert,Germany was full power but unsure about the rest
