Hello ! I am about to buy a nice 1988 GSX-R750. The bike is equipped with a good replacement
engine of the same year range with the engine code R709. There are two extra spare donor engines
of the same R709 type in the deal. From docs I find on the net it indicated R709 appeared

Can anyone confirm. Are there any special characteristics that set
R709 engines apart from others used in the GR77B bikes ? Gear ratios or other ? They are all used in the GR77B model variant,
the 100hp power detuned variant that use restrictors in the exhaust pipes. Grateful for any info.
