I paid 30 euro's for the weekend ticket, but in pre-order, so that was do-able. Guess I'll have to go do Donnington then next year with the GSX

Yeah, my guess as well, it was nowhere near as crowded on the parking lot near Eau Rouge as previous years.

For me personally, the only saving grace was having had a good time on track, nothing blew up and I didn't crash. I'll probably pass on next year; it's getting more and more expensive and we're treated as though we should thank them for letting us out on track (instead of them asking us for forking over 500€/pp and putting up a good show)
The 2 times 2h endurance was laughable, at best, and don't get me started on the Lifestylevillage/Sultans of Speed/having to pay for a paradelap/etc
That's a shame!
For years the Bikers Classics has been the final goal for my GSX, but been hearing around that it's getting worse every year. Might try one of the British event then next near, something like Donnington.
btw. is it really 500 euro per person?

Some pictures from my side. Had a nice weekend, but it was not as good as previous years. The change from a proper 4 hours endurance, with night riding (which is awesome to watch) to 2x 2 hours was a real let down for the me and the company I was with. Also seemend there were less people than the previous years.

We only found that place when most of the bikes were already being put in trailers Been to the Bikers Classics every year since 2010, but never new there was a P overthere.

Agree ref: the CMA - they were period correct for P&M's - the story I got was nothing to do with any technical value - simply P&M were friendly with the guy along the block who made them and they got a good deal - hayho, the original mag alloy set I acquired lasted about 2 months on the road - amazed a wheel could make such a big crack and not disintegrate - lucky!, bin - replaced with their alloy road version - but now replaced with a set of classic dymags - 2nd fiddle to Astralites forsure,but a heck of improvement on the CMA

CMA rears warp time and space around them, avoid. Fronts are not a lot better.
The "normal" Marzocchi M1R's are 41.7 mm and are on (I believe) Duc's, Laverda's, Bimota's and Moto Guzzi's. According to one topic on the Laverda forum it seems that there are 38 mm M1R's , but they are rare.
I have a set of a Ducati Paso, which seems to me the easiest way of getting them, but as I like the Paso it would be a shame to buy such a bike purely for the front forks

If I recall correctly the german Classic SuperBike also rides here! It could be cheaper to just be a guestrider there?

So the starter goes round, but the engine doesn't? That sounds like the startcoupling, which is a challenge to fix as a rookie, but not impossible

Make sure you have:
- Clean carbs
- New/clean air filter
- New/decent spark plugs
And maybe a little more info about the problem. Does the starter go round? Or is it hit or miss for turning? If so, it could be the starter relay is iffy.

These slide are available on Eblag, but quite pricey (49,95 dollar )
You could also try FrankMX, which is a company that specializes in racing carbs. He is near to me and I've been there a few times (I have a TM36 on another bike). He seems to know his bussiness and has some parts that aren't supplied by Mikuni (the gasket between the body and the inlet of a TM36 for instance).

A tip for the next time, on the website of JT sprockets you can compare sprockets. This way you can also see the dimensions of the sprockets! This way I assembled the sprocket setup I use on my GSX (with GS500 carrier).

I've used Gearing Commander in combination with the JT sprockets website to determine the ratio and sprockets I wanted. In Gearing Commander the gearbox ratio's of the bike are available and you can play with the new pitch and ratio to see what kind of speeds you get.

The 750 does have a smaller 18 inch wheel, compared to the 17 inch on the 1100 (4 vs 4.5 inch on the tires).

It looks like a standard footrest hanger which is adapted. The original footrest is attached to the two bolts under your current steps. Must say it looks nice!

Stop the brake hanger from rotating by the lightest and shortest route possible.
I hope to combine these two, the GSX frame has a mounting point for the rear brake that I won't be using anymore. A mate is going to turn a cilinder with the right proportions, to which the (probably original slingshot) torque arm will mount. I have the rear brake + bracket of a slabby, so there's already a bearing
