Dyna coils are good but if it's a stock motor then I would just stick with stock coils. That's just my opinion tho

Hi. Putting a b12 motor in my 750 slabby frame. Just wondering if I can use the pick up out off the 750 motor and use in the 1200 so I can still use the cdi unit?? Tia

Striped carbs and cleaned them. Also checked tap. Still running ruff. Any one know how to check coils???

Thanks will give them another clean out along with the tap and balance. And yea they are standard 34mm carbs

In need of some help people. My bike was running fine until the other day started running on 2 cylinders. Changed coils still no better. Checked carbs and cleaned them. Now it will run fine if I open the throttle gently if I crack it open then bogs down and misses. Any ideas?? Tia

Thanks everyone for all your info. At the moment the only mods are filters and exhaust. I will try my slabby cams in there and see what happens.

Same, I'm doing a 7/12. I have a spare 750 slabby lump sat in the corner hoping I can use the cams from that. Sure someone will be along soon to give us the right info

Anyone tell me the best cams to use on b12 engine apart from standard ones. Heard gsxr 1100 cams are a good upgrade. If so what year is best?? Tia

Sorted mine. Break in wire that gives the coil a live feed from starter switch. Could be worth a look at your loom.
