Actually that's not entirely true as it still has the single sider in that photo. It now has a modified JMC arm.

Wow, it's a long time since I logged on here. In answer to your question Ash it's pretty much exactly like it was in the above photo, other things keep getting in the way. It was always meant to be a long term project, not quite this long though....!

I'm right with you there bud, in fact I might have to dig around in the garage, maybe I WAS building an oil cooled EFE!
-
I was never building an oil cooled EFE. I was building an EFE on the old forum (sold it to Bondy) but that was always going to have a proper engine :-) In fact thinking about it the Mag2 is my first oil cooled project, I have a pretty engine for it though.

I think Right to Left (as you look at it) it would be Revolution, Moderation, Excess

Had to pull some the pack out of the garage the other day so snapped a pic, air-cooled evolution :-)
-
I posted a pic in the Air Cooled section yesterday balders :-)

I agree with the others that it sounds like a blocked pressure relief hole in the master cylinder. Having just cleaned one out recently, I can tell it's bloody tiny so very easily blocked.
-
Haha, sorry Mr Kiwi sir, this is staying in the pack for now :-)

This is my long term project Harris Magnum 2 and although it came back from having some excellent work done by Warpspeed Racing last winter my EFE project got in the way of any further progress but as that's now complete this will be getting some serious attention.

I bought a second EFE off gumtree last December and was originally just going to fix a few issues and move it on but once I started to strip it I found all sorts of gremlins and EVERYTHING on it was seized solid! So then a plan started to form and over the winter I built this. Slingshot front and rear wheels in stock rebuilt forks and swing arm. Four pot front callipers with GSXR600 MC and Venhill hoses. Ohlins rear shock. 1230 motor with web cams and running RS36 carbs with pod filters. Cobra exhaust, I think from a katana modified slightly to sit nicely on the EFE. Frame and brackets are a mix of black sparkle and satin black and the bodywork has a deep blue sparkle with colours inspired by the ET and EFE punching stripe design. I'm very happy with the result.

I've been hankering after an 1100ESD in blue and white for ages and after a bit of swapsies and cash acquired this the other week. Haven't done anything to it except re-route the throttle cable which was pulling on full lock and ride it. First bike I've bought in ages where everything seems to work as it should, it starts, stops and puts a big grin on my face :-)

My Katana1000 bought as a well used but tired and rather tatty old bike and completely rebuilt from the engine outwards. This is a slightly older pic and now has correct front brake disks and original rear shocks.
