    trying to get good penetration [  ooer missus ] on 10mm plate when you're trying to weld it to something as thin as frame tube could actually make it a weak weld , not that it can't be done but it's excessive and not needed , a well designed mount suitably braced could be made from something a lot thinner .

    but if you asked me to repaint it after you wanked it up with rattle cans i would charge you more for prep work ... rattle cans ...i fkin hate em .

    me ....... ill go . count me in ....i may have to come on a lash up if the bike isn't finished ...and the bbq , a  fiver a person , can i just have a burger and hot dog  as i couldn't eat some of you  fat gits ...

    righto , i cant be bothered reading the whole thread , the missus wrote her car off and fkin insurance company dicking about has taken my mind off stuff .... are any spaces available for the track days ?  who do i sign up with . no worries if its full ill turn up anyway .

    and finally a quick blast with a rattle can and there you have it ... easy when you know how ............... if i can find the other side mould ill knock a few out and if anyone needs any get in touch ,,,,,

    i posted this on the old site i seem to remember , anyway a long time ago i made a silicone mould of the sidepanel inserts and the moulds  turned up a couple of days ago when i tidied the mancave again .......  so ,seeing as id offered @Rene EFE  an insert for his bike i thought id better make sure i had one spare . these are made of two pack liquid plastic and look just like the originals , ok they have to be held in with a dab of silicone / glue , but what do you want for  bugger all ...... pics ........... cus we like pics .

    the moulds are getting a bit battered around the edges so i might chuck em after ive made a few spares .. the liquid starts off as a kind of milky yellow but as it dries it goes white .
