trying to get good penetration [ ooer missus ] on 10mm plate when you're trying to weld it to something as thin as frame tube could actually make it a weak weld , not that it can't be done but it's excessive and not needed , a well designed mount suitably braced could be made from something a lot thinner .

looks like they removed the master cylinder bracket too .

mix a gallon of fuel with a couple of pints of water , leave it to settle out , drain the water off and magic will happen ....... you get more than two pints of water ,because it draws the ethanol out of the fuel ... result , unleaded without ethanol . classic car guys do it .

It's all in the prep with paintwork. If you take your time you can get very good results with rattle cans.
And if it comes out crap, you've not wasted much cash.
but if you asked me to repaint it after you wanked it up with rattle cans i would charge you more for prep work ... rattle cans ...i fkin hate em .

i posted this on the old site i seem to remember , anyway a long time ago i made a silicone mould of the sidepanel inserts and the moulds turned up a couple of days ago when i tidied the mancave again ....... so ,seeing as id offered @Rene EFE an insert for his bike i thought id better make sure i had one spare . these are made of two pack liquid plastic and look just like the originals , ok they have to be held in with a dab of silicone / glue , but what do you want for bugger all ...... pics ........... cus we like pics .
the moulds are getting a bit battered around the edges so i might chuck em after ive made a few spares .. the liquid starts off as a kind of milky yellow but as it dries it goes white .
